Introduction

Learning to dive safely with Scuba Club is great fun. Whether you want to blow bubbles and watch the fish or maybe dive on wrecks and deeper water sites, the PADI courses we offer are tailored specifically to maximise your enjoyment. All courses are well supported by quarterly club meetings, easy access to local dive shop and expert guidance and advice. Dive certification is just the beginning to fully enjoying one of our regularly scheduled in Kingdom or world wide dive trips

Your instructors are masters of their trade, each one having many hundreds of diving hours logged, with an encyclopedic knowledge of diving that is second to none.

All our courses are governed by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), the largest and most widely recognised diving association in the world. This means that any qualifications gained with Scuba Club will give you entry to literally thousands of dive sites and resorts around the world! A PADI certification is for a lifetime, however if it is not used on a regular basis you may need to enroll in a PADI Scuba Review program.

Learning how to scuba dive is not as difficult as you may think. Scuba diving is a relaxing sport that does not require you to be super fit and is suitable for all ages*, sizes and swimming levels! You do not have to be an experienced swimmer to learn how to scuba dive, the only minimum requirement is that you can complete a 200 metre swim or 300m snorkel without stopping.

Courses are tailored to suit applicants and we are flexible with the schedule of training.

Starting a course, could not be simpler. All scuba equipment, course manuals, log books, instructional videos and dive planner tables is included in the course fee. No hidden extras!

* minimum age is 12 years

Certification Levels

There are several valuable certifications available. You must participate in the Open Water Certification, which teaches basic diving skills before an individual can partake in any other higher level certification.

Small group sessions are available or if an individual prefers one to one training this too can be arranged.
